We tend to think that progress, the digital revolution and being connected via social media would help people to reach happiness more easily, however, the reality is we are now forced to live under more pressure, something that human bodies and minds struggle to deal with. 

We can see and notice this phenomenon more in developed countries, where health issues, stress and anxiety increase every year, along with the population.

"Pure" is a photography project that invites the viewer to reflect about the way we live in developed societies, through portraits of people who live differently, at a much slower pace.
